About Us
The Primary Executive Network (PEN) continues to provide
high quality professional learning experiences for Deputy Principals,
Assistant Principals and aspiring executive from across Metropolitan South and Regional South.

PEN is made up of:
PEN East – aligned with Bondi PPA
PEN South – aligned with Sutherland PPA
- An Advisory Group which meets once per term to coordinate PEN events.
- From 2012, 4 geographic PEN groups, now aligned to PPA structure:
PEN East – aligned with Bondi PPA
PEN South – aligned with Sutherland PPA
- Teachers are able to continue attending whichever activity and/or location that suits them best.
- The PEN Conference Committee which organises the full day conference.
- The Deputy Principals (DPs) Network which provides 4 breakfast sessions per year for DPs.
- The ASPIRE Alliance Mentoring Project which provides specific professional learning and mentoring for aspiring executive.
- The PEN Promotions Committee which devises promotional materials about PEN events and ensures the website is current.
Advisory Group
The Primary Executive Network Advisory Group is made up of one representatives from each of the Primary Executive Committees, a Principal liaison from each of the networks and a Director Educational Leadership.
The advisory group meets regularly to clearly map the direction of professional learning for primary executive staff in Metropolitan South and Regional South and to coordinate upcoming professional learning experiences being offered to executives by each of the networks.
A responsibility of the Advisory Group is to formulate strategies that will promote professional learning opportunities equitably to executive staff and to ensure that the opportunities being offered are both diverse and relevant in nature to those participating.
