Melinda is a registered psychologist, organisational psychology registrar and NESA accredited teacher with over twenty years’ experience supporting Australian schools. Melinda is the Director/Principal Psychologist of Compassionate Schools, providing one-to-one and one-to-many support to teachers, leaders and schools in staff wellbeing, with a focus on strengthening schools’ capacities to respond to the work of caring in today’s school environment. Melinda’s Class 1 honours research explored the secondary traumatic stress, protective factors, and resilience experienced by Australian teachers and school leaders following a critical incident.
